Arsène Kouassi targeted by a Ligue 1 club

Arsène Kouassi is having a standout season with AC Ajaccio. In 19 Ligue 2 matches, the Burkinabè full-back has distinguished himself with his work rate and crossing ability, providing three assists. This has been enough to catch the attention of top-tier clubs.

According to Foot Mercato, RC Lens is closely monitoring the former Racing Club d’Abidjan player. The club from Artois, known for its preference for athletic and versatile profiles, is considering a move as early as the next summer transfer window. The 20-year-old is under contract with Ajaccio until 2027.

Negotiations are still in their early stages, but the interest is genuine. It remains to be seen whether ACA will be willing to sell one of their most consistent performers this season.
