Tomorrow, Atlético Madrid host FC Barcelona with a two-goal advantage. This second leg of the Champions League quarter-final promises to be electric. Diego Simeone has issued a warning!

Atlético Madrid will look to hold on this Tuesday night to maintain their lead and secure a place in the Champions League semi-finals ahead of Barça. The Madrid side, who have already won a two-legged battle in the Copa del Rey this season (4-0 in the first leg, a 3-0 defeat in the return), will be aiming to pull off another upset against the Blaugrana.

Speaking to the press, Diego Simeone set the tone: “We are convinced of what we need and what we’re going to do out there. Our goal is to qualify, and we’ll play this match to achieve just that. We’ve faced them before, so we know they’re a very strong opponent, but we also know our target: to qualify. Everything we imagine could just be wishful thinking.
