Back in memory: after retiring from football Andre Schurrle practices a new sport and succeeds in it!

Not much time has passed since the retirement of former Chelsea striker and German national team Andre Schurrle, winner of the 2014 World Cup with Germany by scoring three goals at the tournament and making the winning goal for Mario Goetze in the final against Argentina.

Nine years after winning the World Cup, the German legend decided to try a new endurance sport, the Wim Hof Method, which comes in the form of an endurance challenge.

The player climbs snow-covered mountains with cold and harsh conditions, and one of the mountains where the player practices this challenge is the Sniezka Mountains, which includes the highest point in the Republic of Serbia.

It is even more sad that the player does not wear anything except short shorts that cover his skin and is naked all the time also at an altitude of 1630 meters above sea level.

The last minutes I couldn't feel anything and I had to find something deep inside me to keep going. An experience I will never forget! -19 degrees, 100 km/h wind in our faces, heavy snow and rain. What I learned... my body and I are stronger than I thought if I put my mind and soul into it I can do it all.

Andre Schurrle said.
