As the 2025 Ballon d'Or ceremony draws near, Sergio Ramos is calling for support for his former teammate Achraf Hakimi.

During an Instagram live session, as reported by Hespress, the legendary Spanish defender stated that the Moroccan international has all the qualities needed to compete for the Ballon d'Or this year:

He's my friend and my brother. He deserves the Ballon d'Or. Everyone should support him—he's a world-class player and a model of professionalism.

The two played together at Real Madrid before briefly reuniting at PSG. Today, Hakimi is shining both for his Parisian club and the Moroccan national team, to the point of being considered one of the best right-backs in the world.
