The 2026 Ballon d'Or is generating a lot of discussion about the relationship between Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé. Jules Koundé also made revelations to the press.

Since Kylian Mbappé's interview with France Football as part of his media campaign for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, relations are reportedly becoming "strained" between the France captain and his teammate Ousmane Dembélé. That is what RMC Sport reports. However, for Jules Koundé, there is no tension within the France squad.

"Is everything okay between the two of them? It worries you (smiles), but these things are part of life. They are grown-up enough to sort out any problems if there are any. As far as I'm concerned, the group is doing well. Personally, I don't see any tension within the group," said the versatile France right-back after the victory over Turkey (1-0) on Friday in the Nations League.
