Talks have already begun between both parties: FC Barcelona is seriously exploring the possibility of signing Daniel Muñoz, the 29-year-old Colombian right-back currently playing for Crystal Palace. According to the insider channel Krrish on X, the player's representatives and Barça officials have held preliminary discussions, during which Muñoz's demands were relayed to Deco. The Catalan club reportedly has no issues with the requested salary or the associated bonuses, a sign that the door remains open for a potential agreement.

However, Barcelona is tempering expectations: while Muñoz is viewed as a credible option, he is not among the club’s top priorities for the transfer window. Should their main targets fall through, the Colombian could nevertheless become a fully viable solution. With 14 appearances this season, 2 goals, 2 assists, a contract valid until 2028, and an estimated value of €25 million, Muñoz is a solid profile who could bolster a team seeking stability on the right flank.
