Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface and AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze face the possibility of being dropped from Nigeria’s final squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda & Zimbabwe in Mar.

With Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle prioritizing in form and regularly playing players, reports suggest he's leaning towards Bayer Leverkusen’s Nathan Tella and Rayo Vallecano’s Anthony Dennis as fresh attacking options.

Chelle’s Selection Criteria

Sources close to Chelle indicate that the coach values consistent game time and recent form which is why players like Sadiq Umar, Paul Onuachu, Joe Aribo and Cyriel Dessers were also included in the provisional squad.

Unless Boniface & Chukwueze experience turnaround in their club situations in the coming days, they could find themselves omitted from the final 23 man squad, highlighting the growing competition for places in the super eagles lineup.
