Brazil: Bad news for Neymar!

Bad news has struck for Neymar just as Carlo Ancelotti prepares to announce Brazil's squad.

During training on Thursday, August 21, Neymar suffered a thigh edema. As a result, the superstar may not be among the players called up by Carlo Ancelotti for Brazil’s upcoming matches, according to TNT Sports.

Neymar has already started treatment with the club’s medical staff in hopes of being fit in time for the clash against Fluminense, scheduled for August 31 at Vila Belmiro. Peixe quickly notified the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) about the situation, ahead of the official announcement of the Seleção squad, set for tomorrow.

Neymar’s last appearance in a Brazil jersey dates back to October 2023, during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
