Brazil: Ronaldo reaffirms his trust in Carlo Ancelotti
In just a few hours, Brazil will take on Japan in the round of 16 of this 2026 World Cup. But before that, Carlo Ancelotti can count on Ronaldo’s support.
Former Brazilian striker Ronaldo has put his faith in coach Carlo Ancelotti to claim that long-awaited sixth star in the United States.
"Do I believe Ancelotti can make Brazil champions? Yes, I do, and I think that management is actually the key factor that makes the difference today. We have internationally proven players, used to the big stage, and we have emerging talents... And Ancelotti knows exactly how to handle world-class players, how to motivate a group, and how to create a positive and relaxed environment for the team. Brazil needs that more than ever right now, because the pressure of this title drought keeps growing. But we’ve started the World Cup well," said the former Real Madrid star in an interview with L'Équipe.
