Bundesliga: Leverkusen dominate St. Pauli, Tapsoba shines again

Bayer Leverkusen cruised to a resounding 4-0 victory over St. Pauli on Saturday, showcasing their defensive strength with a sixth clean sheet of the season.

Jarell Quansah opened the scoring as early as the 13th minute, quickly followed by Patrik Schick—set up by Lucas Vázquez—to make it 2-0. After the break, Edmond Tapsoba netted the third, and Ernest Poku sealed the win in the 78th minute.

This performance underlines Tapsoba’s outstanding season: with four goals and two assists, he’s been directly involved in six goals this campaign and remains the most impactful centre-back across Europe’s top five leagues in 2025/26.
