Following the announcement of his technical staff on Monday, the new Burkina Faso national team coach, Amir Abdou, wasted no time connecting with several players and overseeing his inaugural training session.

The Stallions' camp kicked off during the international break this Monday, with seven players taking to the pitch at the 4 August Stadium in the capital Ouagadougou under Amir Abdou's guidance. Among them were: Aboubacar Dango Ouattara, Hervé Koffi, Ismaïla Ouédraogo, Lohan Doucet, Ibrahim Bancé, Mohamed Zougrana, and Jack Diarra.

Later, during the night from Monday to Tuesday, a second group of players joined the camp: Mohamed Konaté, Dylan Ouédraogo, Franck Lassina Traoré, Elohim Kabore, Landry Kabore, Gustavo Fabrice Sangaré, Eric B. Kalo, Arsène Kouassi, Kilian Nikiema, and Edmond Tapsoba.

The full squad for Amir Abdou is expected to be completed in the coming hours. The new coach will lead his first official matches with Burkina Faso on March 28 and 31 against Guinea-Bissau.
