CAF Champions League: Espérance de Tunis Counts Its Injuries
Espérance de Tunis is counting its injuries just weeks before the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League 2024-2025.

The oldest Tunisian club will face off against the South African club Mamelodi Sundowns. The first leg is scheduled for April 1 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, while the second leg will take place on April 8 at Stade Hamadi Agrebi in Radès.

Several 'blood and gold' players are doubtful for the double-header against Mamelodi Sundowns, including Algerian defender Mohamed Amine Tougai, Togolese midfielder Roger Aholou, Brazilian striker Rodrigo Rodrigues, and Tunisian forward Achraf Jabri.
Espérance aims for the 5th star
The flagship club of the Tunisian capital is chasing a 5th CAF Champions League title.
To recall, Espérance de Tunis has already won the editions of 1994, 2011, 2018, and 2019. Additionally, they were finalists in the editions of 1999, 2000, 2010, 2012, and 2024.
