CAF CL: "This year is ours," says Ronwen Williams

Ronwen Williams and Mamelodi Sundowns successfully eliminated ES Tunis in the quarter-finals on April 8 and qualified for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League. At this stage, the South African goalkeeper is more convinced than ever that his club will be crowned winners of this 2024/2025 season.

"When we beat them (ES Tunis) at home, we changed the club's history. Because we had never beaten them before. I knew and felt that this year is ours," Ronwen Williams revealed.

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper from South Africa does not hide his desire to see the Sundowns triumph in the Champions League this season. His determination and confidence are palpable. The Brazilians' shot-stopper firmly believes that the team's collective efforts, combined with their accumulated experience, position them favorably to conquer the title.

"Last year, I think they had two chances in both legs and went all the way to the final. I believe this year, we probably had two chances and we seized one. Sometimes, that's all it takes," concluded Ronwen Williams.
