Last Friday, Sadio Mané, reigning African champion with Senegal, made his return to Al Nassr. The Senegalese star was welcomed back with a special gift.

While Moussa Niakhaté received a warm reception in Lyon and Gana Gueye was celebrated at Everton as an African champion, Sadio Mané made his own comeback at Al Nassr. It was the perfect occasion for the entire squad to honor the Senegalese legend who helped his nation lift the CAN 2025 trophy in Morocco.

In a video posted on social media, the Saudi club showcased his teammates congratulating him on his triumphant return to Riyadh. When Cristiano Ronaldo appeared, Sadio Mané was presented with a cake from the five-time Ballon d'Or winner himself. On the team’s training ground, the Portuguese superstar even cut a slice of cake for the former Liverpool man to enjoy.
