CAN 2025 - Nigeria: Record bonuses announced in case of title win
With just three days to go before a highly anticipated quarter-final clash between Nigeria and Algeria, major news has broken for the Super Eagles.
According to local sources, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has approved a particularly attractive bonus structure, promising substantial payouts to each player should they lift the trophy at CAN 2025. Under the announced terms, every player will receive a $30,000 bonus for a flawless performance in the group stage.
The squad has already pocketed an additional $12,500 per player following their commanding victory in the round of 16 against Mozambique's Mambas. Securing a semi-final berth by defeating Algeria's Fennecs in the quarters would guarantee Victor Osimhen and his teammates a further $15,000 per player.
If they reach the last four and then triumph over either Cameroon or hosts Morocco, every player would pocket an extra $17,500. Victory in the final would bring an additional $20,000 per player, plus a championship bonus of $20,000. In total, the potential earnings could reach an impressive $112,500 for each player.
