CAN 2025: Senegal to present the trophy at Stade de France (official)

Even though CAF handed Senegal a forfeit defeat two months after the CAN 2025 final, the Lions of Teranga are unfazed.

The national team will indeed present the trophy to its diaspora during a friendly match against Peru at the Stade de France on March 28. This was officially confirmed in a statement from the national team on Wednesday evening. The celebration with their fans had already been planned for some time.

CAF's controversial sanction will not change anything. The Lions of Teranga are inviting their fans starting from 2 p.m.
