CAN U17 2025: The list of Senegal's Lion Cubs

Senegal is ready to defend its African champion title at the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations. Head coach Pape Ibrahima Faye has unveiled the list of players selected for the competition.

After clinching the continental title in 2023 against Morocco, the Lion Cubs of Teranga are entering this new edition with a strong determination to retain their crown. On the evening of Wednesday, March 26, the FSF announced the list for Senegal to pursue a second consecutive trophy at the 2025 U17 AFCON which will be held in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2025.

Head coach Pape Ibrahima Faye has called up a squad of 23 players. The selection is composed of young talents trained in the country's renowned academies. Clubs such as Génération Foot, Diambars FC, Darou Salam, and Dakar Sacré-Cœur have provided a significant number of players.
