CAN U20 2025: A Togolese referee to officiate the Egypt vs South Africa opening match
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Togolese referee Gnama Aklésso to officiate the opening match of the 2025 Africa U20 Cup of Nations, featuring Egypt against South Africa. This encounter will take place on Sunday, April 27, at the Cairo International Stadium.
Gnama Aklésso is a FIFA Togolese referee active on the international scene since 2019. With his experience in youth tournaments of UFOA B and interclub competitions such as the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup, he attended the CAF seminar in Ivory Coast from March 3 to 8, 2025, for this tournament.
