CAN U20: "We want to secure our ticket to the World Cup," says Aliyu Zubairu

Following Tunisia's reinstatement, CAF conducted a new draw for the groups of the U20 AFCON Egypt 2025 this Sunday, April 13, in Cairo. At the end of this ceremony, Nigeria found themselves in Group B alongside Tunisia, Kenya, and Morocco.

Though some observers label this group as the "group of death," Aliyu Zubairu remains confident. The Nigerian coach is banking on strong mental and physical preparation to face formidable opponents.

"There is no pressure. We are solely focused on our main goal: securing our ticket to the World Cup," he stated in an interview with Soccernet.ng.

After a three-week camp in Katsina, the Flying Eagles will fly to Egypt in the coming days to continue their preparations for the U20 AFCON 2025 scheduled from April 27 to May 18.
