Carabao Cup: The semi-final fixtures are set

Chelsea confirmed their solidity by dispatching Cardiff 3-1, Manchester City maintained their momentum by overcoming Brentford 2-0, while Newcastle punched their ticket after a hard-fought battle against Fulham, edging them 2-1.

Following these encounters, the semi-final draw was conducted, creating an almost complete bracket. The Blues will face the winner of the Arsenal vs Crystal Palace quarter-final, while Newcastle are set for a promising showdown against Manchester City.

The remaining quarter-final, postponed due to Arsenal’s European commitments, will be played on December 23. The first legs of the semi-finals are scheduled for mid-January, with the return matches set for early February.
