Trailing at halftime after Franck Kessié opened the scoring in the 30th minute, Julian Nagelsmann's men dominated proceedings but failed to capitalize on their chances. However, the German coach's substitutions turned the match around with the introductions of Undav and Nadiem Amiri on the hour mark.
The turning point came in the 68th minute when Amiri's pinpoint cross allowed Undav to equalize.
