Chain Ghrissi, the Franco-Tunisian promise captivates
Exclusive
Chain Ghrissi continues to climb the ranks. Born in 2006 and trained at Olympique de Marseille, he now plays for OGC Nice. An elegant, lively, and technical attacking midfielder, the young player standing 1.78m and weighing 65 kg has just caught the attention of Club Africain.
The Tunisian Ligue 1 club was impressed by his trial. They now wish to offer him a professional contract. The interest from the Tunisian club is not coincidental. Chain Ghrissi has Tunisian roots, particularly from Nabeul. A return to his roots could therefore make sense, both sportingly and personally.
But Tunisia is not alone. In Spain, Real Club Deportivo Mallorca is closely monitoring the situation. Eighth in La Liga, the Balearic club sees Ghrissi as a future asset. Several Egyptian clubs are also on the lookout. At 19, the Marseille-born player now has several doors opening. Should he continue his development in Europe or answer the call of a return to his roots?
