Just three days left until the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal. This Wednesday, the Parisian club announced who will carry the trophy onto the pitch in Budapest before kick-off.

According to Le Parisien, Presnel Kimpembe has been chosen as the club’s ambassador for this massive European night. It’s a powerful symbol for PSG, as the 2018 World Cup winner truly embodies the Parisian identity after eleven seasons with the professional side.

Presnel Kimpembe thus succeeds Javier Pastore, who carried the trophy ahead of the final victory over Inter Milan alongside Javier Zanetti. “It’s a great honor,” responded the defender, now at Qatar SC.
