Six more games are scheduled for Wednesday, including Liverpool - Atlético, Napoli - Arsenal and PSG’s first European outing of the new campaign.

After an eventful opening night, the first matchday of the Champions League continues on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. As on Tuesday, six fixtures are on the schedule, with two kicking off at 18:45 French time before four more games begin at 21:00.

Barcelona will open the evening against Feyenoord at Spotify Camp Nou, while Stuttgart host Viking in the other early fixture. At 21:00, attention will turn to Anfield for Liverpool against Atlético Madrid and to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, where Napoli face reigning English champions Arsenal.

Liverpool–Atlético and Napoli–Arsenal headline the night

Back-to-back European champions Paris Saint-Germain also begin their title defence at the Parc des Princes against Slovan Bratislava, while Sporting CP host Galatasaray. Tuesday's opening set of fixtures saw Real Madrid beat Inter 2-1, Manchester City win 2-0 at Porto and Lille lose 3-2 to Real Betis.
