Before taking on PSG, Liverpool suffered a humiliating defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday. But that’s no reason for Virgil van Dijk to be worried. The defender has issued a warning to the Parisians.

Last night, Liverpool were swept aside by Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals (4-0). A heavy defeat just days before the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against PSG, raising plenty of questions. Addressing the situation, Virgil van Dijk promised that his teammates would give everything to salvage what remains of their season.

"Mentally, it's been a very tough season overall, but we have a responsibility—not just to ourselves, but especially to the fans. If we want to take anything from this season, we have to try to do something exceptional in the next three games," he declared.
