Stoke City have released videos showing Junior Tchamadeu back in individual training. While he awaits a full return to group sessions, the 22-year-old defender is working through solo drills under the supervision of the Championship club’s fitness coach.

Images of him leaving the pitch in tears on January 9, 2026, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, left a mark on the quarter-final lost by the Indomitable Lions against the Atlas Lions.

Capped eight times internationally (with one goal), he featured against Gabon and Ivory Coast at the last AFCON, before missing the third group stage match against Mozambique due to suspension. He then played a key role in the Lions’ 2-1 win over South Africa in the Round of 16, scoring a goal before being forced off after 24 minutes in the clash against Morocco (0-2 defeat).

At club level, the London-born player has made 20 appearances in the English Championship this season, netting once and providing an assist.
