Emiliano Martínez could be on his way out of Aston Villa. According to multiple sources, Inter Milan are considering a move for the Argentine goalkeeper.

The 33-year-old left Arsenal for Aston Villa in 2020. Since then, he has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top shot-stoppers and Argentina’s first-choice keeper. According to Football Insider, Inter are closely monitoring the goalkeeper’s situation. The Italian club is aiming to make a move for him as early as the January transfer window.

Inter manager Cristian Chivu is reportedly not fully satisfied with Yann Sommer, the current first-choice keeper. The Swiss international’s contract is also set to expire soon, and his future at the club next season is uncertain. According to reports, Aston Villa are willing to sell Martínez this winter, although the transfer fee remains undisclosed. For the record, Martínez is under contract with Aston Villa until 2029.
