End of an Era? Tottenham Open to Selling Son Heung-min This Summer
Tottenham Hotspur're reportedly ready to part ways with their long time talisman Son Heung min during the current summer transfer window marking the potential end of decade long chapter in North London.
What’s Behind the Decision?
At 33 years old, Son's no longer guaranteed starting role especially under new manager Thomas Frank who's looking to rejuvenate the squad with younger talent. The Korean star's found himself increasingly benched since last season.
According to Givemesport, Son's emerged as prime target for MLS side Los Angeles FC and Tottenham are open to negotiating his departure.
Negotiations Underway
Reports suggest Spurs are willing to accept 20 million sterling pound for their iconic winger if LAFC submit serious offer. With Son’s contract set to expire next summer, Tottenham would rather cash in now than lose him for free in 2026.
A Legendary Career at Spurs
Since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 for 30 million euro, Son's become one of the club’s all time greats. In 454 appearances he’s scored 173 goal and delivered 101 assist forming deadly partnership with Harry Kane.
Finally, a Trophy Lifted
Son finally claimed his 1st major title last May helping Spurs win the Europa league after historic final win over Man United.
