Nigerian rising star Rafiu Durosinmi is making headlines with his club FC Viktoria Plzen in this 2025-2026 edition of the Europa League.

He is the highest-ranked African player in the European competition’s best player standings, according to statistics from the specialist site “whoscored.”

With a rating of 7.87 out of 10, he sits 8th in this ranking, trailing Marwin Hitz, Antony, Jakub Kiwior, Marco Bizot, Karel Spácil, Stefan Târnovanu, and Tomi Horvat.
