After Luis Enrique, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi also spoke following the latest triumph of Paris Saint-Germain in the European Super Cup.

The Qatari president was especially delighted to see Paris Saint-Germain kick off the new season with a trophy, as he explained live on Canal+. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi now wants to ride this momentum and maintain the mentality that has allowed Paris Saint-Germain to reach new heights in recent months.

"I hope we keep going like this. We’re starting the season with a trophy, it’s important, it’s magnificent. We begin with confidence. Our mentality is always to win." he declared, visibly elated. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi also reminded everyone of the particular circumstances in which PSG played this match, with several players only just back from vacation.

"Despite having players who only trained twice, like the French internationals or Achraf Hakimi, we played as a team. Everyone plays for the team. We have the best team in the world, the best players, the best coach, the best sporting director. It’s not easy every day, but we’re lucky to have all this." he added.
