Iliman Ndiaye made a triumphant return to the Everton FC lineup by scoring a crucial goal against Arsenal this Saturday, April 5, in the Premier League. The Senegalese international saved the Toffees from defeat (1-1) against the Gunners.

The Senegalese forward is indeed back after several weeks of absence due to a knee injury sustained against Liverpool on February 12. He was called up to the Toffees' squad this afternoon for the 31st matchday of the Premier League. The visitors, looking to keep up the pressure on league leaders Liverpool, scored first through Leandro Trossard in the 34th minute. However, Everton, well-organized and determined, did not give up.

Right after the break, the Toffees were awarded a penalty following a foul by Myles Lewis-Skelly on Jack Harrison. Iliman Ndiaye stepped up and confidently converted the penalty. The former Marseille player netted his seventh Premier League goal this season and galvanized the team. As the savior of the Toffees, Ndiaye allowed Everton to share the points with a top-tier opponent.
