Feguifoot launches recruitment for new Syli National head coach
Syli National

The Guinean Football Federation launched a call for applications this Friday, June 13, to recruit a new national team head coach. This announcement aims to provide the Syli National with a stronger coaching staff ahead of upcoming competitions.

Feguifoot is turning a significant page in its history by ending its collaboration with Michel Dussuyer, who was appointed for the third time in September 2024. This decision comes in the context of a major restructuring of the technical staff, carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In its official statement, Feguifoot makes its ambitions clear: to equip the national team with a technical staff capable of restoring Guinea among the continent’s elite, aiming for qualification for the 2026 World Cup and the next Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled for 2027.

The call for candidates is open to all profiles, provided they meet very specific criteria. The future head coach must hold a CAF Pro or UEFA Pro license, have solid experience managing national teams or professional clubs, and demonstrate recognized strategic, managerial, and pedagogical skills.
