Rayan Ghrieb has officially signed with FC Magdeburg this Thursday, August 7, 2025, after a season at En Avant Guingamp. The Franco-Algerian attacking midfielder joins the German second division club and will wear the number 29 jersey.

Born in Strasbourg, Ghrieb ends his Breton adventure after just one year. At Guingamp, the left winger featured in 32 matches across all competitions, netting 9 goals and providing 3 assists. In Ligue 2, he made 28 appearances, tallying 9 goals and 2 assists.

FC Magdeburg is banking on the versatility of this player, who can fill multiple attacking roles. Otmar Schork, the German club's sporting director, highlights Ghrieb's tactical flexibility, allowing him to operate on both flanks as well as through the middle. His experience in France's second division is seen as a valuable asset for adapting to German football.
