Friendly: Madagascar squad to face DR Congo includes Adinany and Sadzoute
On the morning of Wednesday, May 14, the Malagasy Football Federation officially unveiled the list of Barea called up for the June 2025 international break. Head coach Corentin Martins has selected a squad of 24 players, featuring several new faces.
As part of the June FIFA window, the Barea of Madagascar, under the guidance of Corentin Martins, will take on the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo on June 8 in Orléans, France. This friendly fixture will serve as valuable preparation for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Among the 24 players selected, notable inclusions are Franco-Malagasy talents Bryan Adinany and Scotty Sadzoute, both of whom have chosen to represent the Barea and are set to earn their very first call-up to Madagascar's national team. Adinany, a 25-year-old forward, currently plays for SK Lierse in the Belgian second division, having tallied 7 goals and 2 assists this season in the Challenger Pro League. Sadzoute, meanwhile, is the left-back for Siauliai FA in Lithuania.
