Senegal has scheduled an additional friendly match during the international break in June 2025. Besides England, the Lions of Teranga will face Ireland.

It's official! The Lions of Teranga will play two friendly matches during next June's international break. Indeed, the Senegalese Football Federation has officially announced that the national team of Senegal will clash with their Irish counterparts before facing England. The FSF had negotiated a meeting with the Three Lions of England, set for June 10 at City Ground in Nottingham. Thus, before this duel, the Lions of Senegal will first face the Boys in Green on June 6 at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

It should be noted that this will be the very first encounter between Senegal and Ireland in history. For now, the Senegalese team is focusing on their two matches during this March's international break. Pape Thiaw's men will take on Sudan and Togo on March 22 and 25 respectively, as part of the 5th and 6th rounds of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
