Ghislain Konan is back in Portugal. The Ivorian defender, currently a free agent, has officially signed with Gil Vicente FC in Barcelos on a one-year deal.

After a brief six-month stint in Spain with Burgos CF (2 matches), where his contract ended in June 2025, Ghislain Konan returns to Portugal—a country where he previously played for Vitória SC from 2015 to 2018. This comeback to familiar ground gives the experienced 29-year-old left-back a golden opportunity to jumpstart his career. The former Al-Nassr and Al-Fayha player has committed himself for the 2025/2026 season.
