Mohamed Salah, the son of a humble village in Egypt, has etched his name alongside the legends of his current club, Liverpool.

With 256 goal to his name, the Egyptian striker is now closing in on one of the most celebrated records in the club's history and the question is no longer whether he's among the greats but whether he’ll finish his career at the top.

Salah among Liverpool’s greatest

Salah now sits third on Liverpool’s all time scoring list with 256 goal in 437 appearance across all competitions.

Only two player remain ahead of him:

• Ian Rush: 346 goal (660 matches)
• Roger Hunt: 285 goals (492 matches)

His rise has seen him move past some of Liverpool’s biggest names including Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Kenny Dalglish and Michael Owen.

In the Premier League alone, Salah holds another major distinction.. he is Liverpool’s top scorer in the competition, with 189 goal in 310 match underlining his sustained impact in England.
