Four years after leaving the pitch, Ibrahima Traoré is making a comeback. The former Syli National captain, now 37 years old, has signed with DJK Gnadental, a modest club in Germany's sixth division.

The ex-Borussia Mönchengladbach winger, who put his career on hold in 2021, clearly isn't finished with football just yet. His new club made the announcement official on social media, hailing the arrival of a player "with experience and international class."

With this unexpected return, Ibrahima Traoré proves that his passion for the game is still burning. One last adventure for the Guinean, who will no doubt bring an extra spark to his new locker room.
