Jaouen Hadjam: the young Algerian making waves in Europe

At just 22 years old, Jaouen Hadjam is already establishing himself as one of the most promising defenders of his generation. Born in Paris, this left-back has chosen to represent Algeria on the international stage, and his performances in Switzerland with Young Boys Bern have not gone unnoticed by Europe's biggest clubs.

Since his arrival in Switzerland, Jaouen Hadjam has quickly shown he is much more than just a defender. In 38 appearances this season, he has scored one goal and provided two assists, proving he can contribute offensively while remaining solid in his defensive duties. His speed and game reading make him a highly regarded player in the Swiss league.

Under contract with Young Boys until 2028, Hadjam seems to be in an ideal position to make the leap to a bigger club. Currently, he is reportedly on the radar of two renowned European clubs: Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund. According to Sky Italia, Inter is seriously considering strengthening their left flank with his profile. Meanwhile, Dortmund is also following the case with interest. Two clubs known for investing in young talent with high potential.

But despite this growing interest, Jaouen Hadjam remains grounded and doesn't forget his dreams. In a recent statement, he declared:

My dream club is PSG. My dream is to play there one day, InshaAllah, and I'm working towards it.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for him in the transfer market.
