The former Congolese international Jonathan Bolingi has finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel.

Away from the pitch since 2023, specifically after his stint with the Thai club Buriram Utd.

On Sunday, September 2, he had the chance to play once again after a 547-day drought, during the match between his club FK Vojvodina Novi Sad and Spartak Subotica, as part of the 26th round of the Serbian championship.

At 30 years old, the Kinshasa native played for 15 minutes in the match, which his club lost by the narrowest of margins.

Jonathan Bolingi's record with the Leopards

An international since 2014, the former CS Don Bosco player has 34 matches with the national team of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), with 9 goals to his name.

His last appearance dates back to June 18, 2023, in a match won against Gabon with a score of 2-0.
