Ligue 1: Brest welcomes back Abdallah Sima before Toulouse clash

Abdallah Sima returned to training this Saturday, March 29, on the eve of the 27th round of Ligue 1. This is great news for Stade Brestois, as they regain their second top scorer before facing Toulouse this Sunday.

Sima had been called up for the Senegal national team during the international break. He participated at the end of the match against Sudan (0-0) as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers but did not play in the victory against Togo (2-0).

Upon his return to France, the Senegalese striker was absent from Thursday's training, unlike other international players. Similarly, on Friday, March 28, 2025, he was still traveling back. It was only this Saturday, March 29, on the eve of the 27th round of France's Ligue 1, that Sima reunited with his teammates in collective training. In the pre-match press conference, Brest's coach confirmed his availability and presence for the trip to Toulouse.

His return is especially significant as the player has already scored 9 goals this season in the league, making him the club's second top scorer behind Ludovic Ajorque.
