Good news for Ismaël Bennacer and Olympique de Marseille! The Algerian player has rejoined his teammates in team training this Tuesday, March 25. He could play in the 27th round of Ligue 1 against Reims.

Having joined Olympique de Marseille during the winter transfer window, Ismaël Bennacer was expected to strengthen the Phocean midfield. After five appearances with OM in Ligue 1, the Algerian international midfielder suffered an injury. A muscle strain occurred on March 16, the day of the Classico against Paris Saint-Germain, forcing him to withdraw at the last minute.

After nine days of treatment and rehabilitation, Ismaël Bennacer resumed team training on March 25. He joins his teammates who were not called up for national duty during the international break. Olympique de Marseille will face Stade de Reims this Saturday, March 29, for the 27th round of Ligue 1. Bennacer's participation seems likely.
