This Saturday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain secured their 13th Ligue 1 title with a narrow victory over Angers (1-0).

Undefeated this season, Achraf Hakimi and his teammates wanted to finish the job in a festive atmosphere at the Parc des Princes. Despite the upcoming clash against Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League, Luis Enrique made no compromises: the Spanish coach fielded his strongest lineup, featuring Zaรฏre-Emery and Gonรงalo Ramos.

A sluggish first half

However, the first half was sluggish. Lacking inspiration and occasionally shaky in defense, the Parisians narrowly avoided disaster on a counterattack led by Esteban Lepaul, which was narrowly stopped by Pacho. On the other side, Angers showed promise but failed to capitalize.

After the break, PSG upped the ante. The electrifying Kvaratskhelia tore down the left flank before setting up Douรฉ, who executed a fine volley to open the scoring in the 55th minute.

Subsequently, Paris managed the game effortlessly, dominating both technically and physically.

With this victory, PSG maintains their unbeaten streak after 28 matches and can now focus on Europe. Angers, meanwhile, remains in danger, clinging to a precarious 14th place.
