Liverpool: this legend speaks out on Salah's future

Robbie Fowler, Liverpool icon, has made a clear request to the Reds' management: extend Mohamed Salah's contract at all costs. As Liverpool continues its pursuit of the 20th Premier League title, the Egyptian's future remains uncertain. Despite exceptional performances this season, Salah has yet to sign a new extension.

Before the Champions League elimination, Mohamed Salah was seen as a serious contender for the Ballon d'Or, with 32 goals and 22 assists in 43 matches. For Robbie Fowler, investing in a replacement would be far more costly than rewarding an already established player:

I would give Salah what he wants, considering his track record. Recruiting a new player would cost a lot of money. So why not give all that money to someone who has already proven himself, like Salah? Please, just give him what he wants, and that's it.

Fowler's message is clear: Liverpool must do everything to extend Salah. His impact on the game and his status as a global star make him a cornerstone of the project. As a new cycle begins under Arne Slot, the Egyptian could well be the last bastion of the Klopp legacy. It remains to be seen whether the Reds' management will heed the call of its legends.
