Manchester United: Amad Diallo begins individual training
Amad Diallo takes a significant step in his recovery. The Ivorian winger of Manchester United has started his gym workouts at Carrington. A return before the end of the 2024/2025 campaign might be possible.
After suffering a severe ligament injury in his ankle in February, Amad Diallo was initially ruled out for the rest of the season. However, his recovery seems to be taking a more optimistic turn than expected. On April 9, Manchester United shared photos of the Ivorian forward in the gym.
"As you can see in the photos below, our number 16 is working behind the scenes, and although he must follow all necessary steps to recover safely, there is no doubt that a return in the next two months would be a huge boost for Ruben Amorim's Reds at the end of the season," Manchester United wrote in their official statement.
With 9 goals and 7 assists in 33 matches across all competitions, Amad Diallo had become one of the few bright spots in a team struggling to break into the top 10 of the Premier League. His absence has undeniably affected the squad.
"He's doing quite well. We hope to have him back before the end of the season. We'll see, but he's eager to play, so we're waiting for him," hopes Ruben Amorim.
