Marseille: Amine Gouiri dreams of the Champions League

Arriving quietly in January, Amine Gouiri is now shining in the colors of OM. In an interview with Maritima, the Algerian international shared his ambitions: he wants to lead Marseille to the Champions League.

Since his arrival, Amine Gouiri has posted impressive stats: six matches, three goals, and three assists, not to mention his title as Ligue 1 Player of the Month for February. "Scoring and making decisive plays drive me. As a striker, you're never satisfied. There are 10 matches left; I want to keep racking up victories," he confides.

The Champions League also haunts the mind of the 25-year-old forward: "It's the very top level, it's a dream, the music... And with the new format, we can face great teams. At the Vélodrome? It could be madness, we can only hope for that and it's the ultimate goal." Determined, Amine Gouiri vows to fight to the end to secure OM a place among Europe's elite.
