Napoli officially announced on Tuesday the contract extension of Matteo Politano. The 32-year-old Italian winger has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until June 2028.

Since joining in 2021, Politano has played a crucial role in the recent successes of the Partenopei, notably contributing to their two Serie A titles. Already featuring four times in the league this season, he has registered one assist so far.

"The story continues," the club wrote in its official statement, confirming that the Italian international will continue his journey at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. This extension underlines Napoli's determination to retain the experience and creative spark of their attacking stalwart, a pillar of the group for the past four years.
