Michael Folorunsho loaned to Cagliari

Michael Folorunsho is leaving Napoli once again.

Of Nigerian descent, the 27-year-old midfielder has been loaned to Cagliari for the 2025-2026 season, with an option to buy included in the deal. The Sardinian club made his arrival official this Wednesday on its website.

Underused by Antonio Conte, the Italian-Nigerian had already been sent on loan to Fiorentina last January. In Serie A, Folorunsho has made 54 appearances, scoring five goals and providing one assist. He has also earned two caps with the Azzurri.
