MLS: Luis Suarez will miss Inter Miami’s decisive match

Luis Suarez will not be able to play in Game 3 of the MLS playoffs against Nashville SC. The 38-year-old Uruguayan striker has been suspended after kicking his opponent Andy Najar during the previous match.

The referee did not see the incident, but the league decided to hand down a retroactive ban. This suspension comes at the worst possible moment for Inter Miami, who already face a tough challenge against Nashville after losing Game 2 at home. Suarez will be absent, but the team can still rely on other stars like Lionel Messi, Rodrigo de Paul, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba.

Despite this absence, Miami remains the favorite for the decisive match. Nashville will be counting on their striker Hany Mukhtar, but Miami’s star-studded lineup should tip the balance in their favor.
