Moustapha Junior Berete at Lazio

At just 16 years old, Moustapha Junior Berete is taking on a new challenge. The Ivorian forward has left Fiorentina to join Lazio Rome, where he will initially play with the under-17s.

The transfer is part of a continuity strategy. Lazio, impressed by his potential, sees in him a promising offensive profile: fast and blessed with great dribbling skills and a natural instinct in front of the goal. Born in Côte d'Ivoire, Moustapha Junior Berete grew up in Conakry, Guinea, before moving to Italy where he quickly joined the youth setups of top-level clubs.
